Delicious and great breakfast, immaculately clean hotel.
Incredible location in the Liverpool area or en-route further North, in the local area. Again, walking distance to a scenic park.

All in all a very lovely stay, the venue met expectation. The breakfast was great with bacon & eggs and yoghurts, had everything you could want. The room with single bed.

I had thoroughly enjoyable time here.
Loved the Victorian-style building and brand-new room with a full tea tray.

A great selection of brilliant food for meals. An electric kettle, a mini bar fridge, and a TV available in the double room. Brilliant excellent location, to a pub near by called the Imperial which was good value. Also - not far from the centre of Southport, the shops, the seafront and the pier and the arcades and park for the children.

The fantastic and fab location for the price, close to a wonderful park as well as the shopping centre in Lord Street. Immaculate double room with down to the fresh milk in the fridge, nice touches, complimentary luxury hot chocolate-again. Smooth check-in and good service.

Upon arrival at Bowden Lodge, I was immediately taken in by the stunning decor and charming original features. The entrance, adorned with beautiful flowers, provided a warm and colorful welcome. The room I stayed in was immaculately clean and the comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep. The breakfast, cooked to order and served with a smile, was a delightful way to start the day. The hosts, Andy and Jane, went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable and memorable. Despite the small size of the single bedroom, it was manageable and the snug shower did not hinder my experience. Although the unexpected heatwave made the lack of air conditioning in the rooms a bit uncomfortable, it is understandable given the atypical weather for the area. The only other minor inconvenience was the absence of mini fridges in the rooms. Lastly, my room had a view of a brick wall, but that did not detract from my overall enjoyment of the stay. I had a wonderful time at Bowden Lodge and would happily recommend it to others.
